Our Philosophy

Brother Wolf is a community based canine rescue. We believe that it takes a Tribe of like minded people to make a difference in our society. Our philosophy on life is very similar to the Native people of America in that we feel that all life is precious....That the Animals are our brothers and sisters....Other Nations....Not our underlings. We believe that the Animals have much to teach us if we would only listen. Brother Wolf is reaching out in the Spirit of Compassion to help others realize the importance of human responsibility and stewardship towards this planet and all the wonderful diverse life within it.....including ourselves.

Our Mission

Here at Brother Wolf we are dedicated to helping abandoned and abused dogs find their Forever homes. We are striving, with the community's involvement, to make our city of Asheville a No Kill community.

What We Do

Our dogs are rescued from a life of misery and/or death. Most of these little ones have no concept of what it's like to be loved by a kind human, let alone be a house dog. We bring them into a household environment for rehabilitation and behavior modification. They learn how to interact well with other dogs and people....they learn how to walk on a leash and play with toys....they learn house training and socialization....and they learn how to be spoiled rotten family pets! We are located in the mountains of western NC. If you are interested in adopting one of our kids and live out of state, we can arrange for partial or full transport - Expenses to be covered by Adopter.
